Draft. Review with counsel and fill in the business details before accepting live payments.

Verjuice collects as little as it can. The desktop app and CLI work without an account; this page covers the website and the optional key service.

What we store

  • Your key, hashed. We store a SHA-256 hash of your Verjuice key and its last four characters. We can't see or recover the key itself.
  • Email, if you give one. Optional for free keys. For purchases, the email you use at Stripe Checkout.
  • Tracked apps. The names (and optional executable names) of apps you add to your profile.
  • Billing references. Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan status and renewal date. No card data.

Who else processes data

  • Stripe handles payments and receipts. Card details go directly to Stripe.
  • Cloudflare hosts this site and its database.
  • GitHub. The download section loads release details from GitHub's public API in your browser, so GitHub sees that request.
  • Resend sends the purchase thank-you email, if enabled.

In your browser

Your key is saved in this browser's local storage so the dashboard can use it. “Forget key on this device” removes it. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

Deleting your data

Email support from the address on file, or with your key, and we'll delete your account and tracked apps. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.
